"Territories in agro-ecological and food transition" Program


Project aim:
How to encourage agriculture and food transitions ?
9 territories engaged in ambitious projects about agriculture and food transitions are accompanied by the Carasso Foundation and AgroParisTech through the Program "Territories in agro-ecological and food transition" called TETRAA.
The aims of TETRAA ?
- To accelerate and sustain the initiatives of the 9 territories
- To analyse, understand and support the change process with a scientific approach
- To capitalise on and disseminate the experience gained as much as possible : valuable resources, tools and relevant methods,governance mechanisms and mobilization, …
The program TETRAA is build for 5 years and has a budget of 5,69 millions of euros
One modality of the program is based on the moderation of groups focusing on exchanging best practices, sharing information of mutual interest and learning around 4 main themes identified by the territories themselves :
1. Food democracy, governance and mobilization
2. Economic operators and short supply chains
3. Citizenship, social cohesion and justice
4. Reduction and adaptation to climate change

Activities of ECOZEPT:
Ecozept is in a partnership with Aequitaz, Extracité et Solagro to carry out the moderation of the groups focusing on exchanging best practices, sharing information of mutual interest and learning.
Ecozept take care of the moderation of the group dealing with "Economic Operators and Short Supply Chains". The leitmotiv of this group is how to involve economic operators on the transition projects.
The challenge is to lead to a new dialogue between economic operators, from farm to fork, also with the experts and consulting agencies and to enhance new forms of collaboration.

Ecozept, Gwenaëlle Raton (Gustave Eiffel University) and Daniel Lasaygues (CERFRANCE) investigated logistical and transformation solutions in order to provide Oléron island public catering with local products.

Working on an island with high seasonal tourist number made this project particular.

The project aims are implementing local logistics and processing scenarios, for which a feasibility study will be carried out.

Feasibility study for the installation of a locker vending machine for St-Julien-les-Villas territory

Ecozept and the firms Espelia, Utopies, Recovering and Metapolis have been selected by the Banque des Territoires as a group of experts that can be solicited within a Framework Agreement by public actors in charge of approaches or projects contributing to the energy, agricultural and food transitions of their territory, and responding to water and biodiversity issues.
In this context, Ecozept, in partnership with the firm Espelia, was asked by the Banque des Territoires to study the feasibility of a project of refrigerated vending machine for local agricultural products, supported by the municipality of St-Julien-les-Villas. The feasibility of the project in terms of location, governance, logistics as well as on the technical-economic level was studied.

Market and feasibility study for the creation of a mutualized processing tool for the local fish industry

Within the framework of the inter-territorial food project (PAT) of the Sarrebourg and Saulnois region, we have accompanied a group of fish farmers (carp, pike-perch, pike, roach, ...) in the setting up of a mutualized processing project. In association with CERFRANCE Gascogne Occitane, we conducted a market study and a technical-economic and legal feasibility study.
