Project aim:
As part of its Local Food Project (Projet Alimentaire Territorial - PAT), the Pays Pyrénées-Méditerranée wishes to support the structuring and development of a multi-product processing plant dedicated to cutting and processing vegetables and meat. Led by a group of producers, this project has been identified as a key lever for the sector and for providing local residents and tourists access to processed local food.
Activities of ECOZEPT:
Ecozept combined its skills with those of SOSCA Agroalimentaire to provide this support. Ecozept carried out a study of the potential market for the various products produced by the processing plant. This study was based on:
- A benchmark on the functioning of three multi-product value-adding facilities,
- A demand study based on in-depth interviews with potential customers, and a survey of 100 consumers.
Ecozept formulated recommendations for optimizing the operation of the multi-product processing plant, structured according to the 4P marketing mix framework (Product, Price, Distribution, Communication).
For its part, SOSCA Agroalimentaire assessed the technical feasibility of the plant.
