Technical, economic and legal feasibility study for the construction of a vegetable processing plant on local authority Douaisis (Northern France)
Project aim:
Local authority of Douaisis is looking into the opportunity and feasibility of setting up a vegetable processing plant to promote organic and local fruit and vegetables in various forms through different distribution channels (institutional and commercial catering, supermarkets and hypermarkets, specialized distribution, etc.).
Activities of ECOZEPT:
Several organizations have joined forces to bring this project to fruition. Extracité, in partnership with Ecozept, CERFRANCE, GECE, Bien fait pour ta Com and Verdi, are first carrying out a feasibility study by conducting a survey of the potential market and offer.
This assessment is based on targeted interviews with players potentially interested in the project, and an inventory of similar projects in France. These data are then mobilized to propose various dimensioning scenarios, as well as an analysis of technical, economic, legal and financial feasibility.
