Project aim:
This project follows on from support for the implementation of Payments for Environmental Services and the development of profitable sectors enabling water resources to be preserved in the Châtillonnais region in 2019-2022. The aim here is to study the replicability of this project in other areas of the upper Seine basin.

Activities of ECOZEPT:
In collaboration with Solagro, this second project is structured in different stages with Ecozept involved in the food supply chain aspect. The first step is to identify the factors contributing to the success and replicability of the project carried out in the Châtillonnais region. The following stages aim to identify potential areas for replicating the project and then develop replication scenarios. Finally, we have proposed an operational action plan for replicating the project. These different stages revolve around the involvement of private and public actors in the area through interviews and group workshops.

Support the development of organic agriculture in the degraded catchment areas of Alsace Moselle and strengthen regional organic sectors

In order to protect water resources, the Syndicat des Eaux et de l'Assainissement Alsace Moselle (SDEA) has mandated the Professional Organization of Organic Agriculture in Alsace (OPABA) to study the feasability of developing organic farming in degraded catchment basins, and strengthen regional organic sectors.
