Project aim:
The municipalities in the north of Munich which form the Heideflächenverein aim at more sustainable management of communal agricultural land. Local church congrgations and corresponding districts are included as well.

Activities of ECOZEPT:
Ecozept supports the municipalities of the Heideflächenverein in developing guidelines and general conditions for the leasing of public land.

How can the OOWV achieve more organic farming in its drinking-water catchment areas?

Creation of an expertise on the expansion of organic farming in the drinking-water catchment areas of the Oldenburgisch-Ostfriesischer Wasserverband (OOWV, water association for Oldenburg and Easter Frisia). The aim of the study is to identify ways on how to promote the willingness to convert to organic farming. This should be achieved through the development and marketing of regional water-conservation-products and suitable further training- and communication offers.

Round Tables agriculture in Munich

Ecozept supported the Department of Urban Planning of the City of Munich (Referat für Stadtplanung und Bauordnung in the preparation and implementation of a total of seven round tables on the subject of "Agriculture". The aim of the project is to work out solutions in dialogue with representatives of the agricultural sector in various subject areas: agricultural structural surveys, dealing with compensation areas and contractual nature conservation as well as the promotion of organic agriculture.

Freiwillige Kooperation Fuchsthal

Ecozept arbeitet im Einzugsgebiet der Wasserburger Trinkwasserversorgung südöstlich der Stadt an der Erhaltung und Verbesserung der Trinkwasserqualität. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf dem Nitratwert, der bedingt durch die geologischen Gegebenheiten standortuntypisch hoch liegt. Dazu wurde eine Freiwillige Kooperation mit den landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben vor Ort ins Leben gerufen, wodurch auch Flächen in der nicht ausgewiesenen Wasserschutzgebiets-Zone IIIb gesichert werden können. Im Rahmen dieser Zusammenarbeit werden im gesamten Wassereinzugsgebiet, das weit über das offiziell ausgewiesene Wasserschutzgebiet hinausgeht, Maßnahmen für den Trinkwasserschutz durchgeführt.
