Project aim:
Ecozept and the firms Espelia, Utopies, Recovering and Metapolis have been selected by the Banque des Territoires as a group of experts that can be solicited within a Framework Agreement by public actors in charge of approaches or projects contributing to the energy, agricultural and food transitions of their territory, and responding to water and biodiversity issues.
In this context, Ecozept, in partnership with the firm Espelia, was asked by the Banque des Territoires to study the feasibility of a project of refrigerated vending machine for local agricultural products, supported by the municipality of St-Julien-les-Villas. The feasibility of the project in terms of location, governance, logistics as well as on the technical-economic level was studied.
Activities of ECOZEPT:
A diagnosis of the agricultural supply and the current and potential demand for local products was first carried out. The diagnosis was completed by interviews with local resource persons and a manufacturer of locker vending machines. They allowed us to imagine a match between the commune's project and the technical and economic requirements of the system. Espelia and Ecozept provided the mayor of the municipality with an initial costing and sizing of the dispenser with recommendations concerning governance and the operating scheme. These elements were part of the application file for the municipality's recovery plan.
