Project aim:
An organic labelled French fish farm wants to go further in sustainable production and tries to sell canned organic juvenile fresh-water fishes.

Activities of ECOZEPT:
We realised an ad-hoc market study for canned fish (organic trout)  in France by storechecks, bibliography and expert interviewing. This work allowed to assess the commercial potential of this innovative project.

In order to achieve sustainable food systems, the project’s objective is to develop tools, business models and policies to measure and value positive and negative external costs of food. By internalising climate, biodiversity, environmental, social and health externalities, these costs are going to be reflected in market prices and thus in the decision making of actors in food value chains. FOODCoST (Food Costing and internalisation of Externalities for System Transition) will guide business, policy makers and other actors to support the transition towards a sustainable food system. This EU-research project is coordinated by Stichting Wageningen Research (Netherlands).

Banque des territoires – Market research for the ecological and energy transition

The “Banque des territoires” has launched a call for projects to support the agricultural and energy transition. The selected local authorities will be able to receive support in various forms: studies, expert reports and advice for the success of the projects.A consortium including Espélia, Phoenix, Groupe Ginger, Planète Publique, Seban Avocats and Ecozept has been selected to provide support to projects in a variety of areas.
