Project aim:
ECOZEPT has been mandated by the Department de la Drôme to develop a strategy for the “economic development of the supply chain of medicinal,- aromatic,- and perfume plants.

Activities of ECOZEPT:
After an in-depth inventory of the value chain, based on a literature review and 40 expert interviews, ECOZEPT organized a conciliation with economic and institutional actors.

Compilation of an organic market report for the Ministry of Agriculture of Schleswig-Holstein

The political objective of the state of Schleswig-Holstein is to double the proportion of organic farms. In 2023, the proportion of organic farmland is around 7.9%. This increase requires considerable efforts and incentives for agriculture and downstream sectors.

The organic market report therefore aims to provide detailed data along the organic value chains in Schleswig-Holstein and thus provide guidance for entrepreneurial and political action.

Market potentials of innovative crops in Bavaria

Bavarian agriculture is adapting to changing climatic conditions and consumer habits. The list of crops that can grow under these new conditions is expanding (e.g. lentils, chickpeas, peanuts, sweetcorn, grain millet, buckwheat, quinoa, amaranth, sesame, etc.). The Bavarian State Research Centre for Agriculture (LfL) has set itself the goal of promoting the production of these innovative arable crops by exploring their potential for the production of innovative foods through research and knowledge transfer. In order to calibrate and orientate this support work, the LfL needs an assessment of the market potential.
