Project aim:
On behalf of the regional organic umbrella organisation Cluster Bio Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (South East France), Ecozept continuously conducts market studies on organic prodcuts in different European countries and abroad. The target of the studies is to give French organic companies insights into the corresponding export markets and recommendations for action as well as to establish business contacts. In 2024, we are analysing Germany, Italy, Ireland, the USA and Austria.

Activities of ECOZEPT:
In addition to the analysis of the current markets’ situation and the description of market tendencies for organic products and natural cosmetics, company profiles of important players in retail and distribution are created. This is carried out through various desktop research and SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) analyses.

Developing an organic market report within the framework of the implementation of the Organic Action Plan of the state of Brandenburg (Germany)

The political objective of the state of Brandenburg is to convert 20 % of its agricultural land to organic farming by 2024. In 2021, the share of organic land is about 15 %. This increase requires substantial efforts as well as incentives for agriculture and its downstream/subsequent sectors/processes. Building on a study by AMI in 2022, the organic market report is intended to provide detailed data along the organic value chains in Brandenburg and Berlin and therefore offer guidance for corporate and political action.
